Krisavian is an up and coming Christian R&B artist from the south suburbs of Chicago. She grew up singing in her church's choir with family members. As she grew older, she started writing poetry which led her to songwriting.  She gets inspiration to write from Jesus. When she writes, she asks Him what He wants His people to hear or what she needs to hear. She also uses her words as testimonials or letters to God.

Many people that hear Krisavian's voice, likens it both to new school and old-school acts from artists like H.E.R. and SZA to Brandy and Toni Braxton.

"I believe God gave me the gift of singing for a reason and I want to use that gift to glorify Him. I also want to give people some music that they can sing to feel uplifted, seen and heard by God."
